Start Your Novel Coaching
Got a burning idea for a novel? Ready to set the world on fire with your fiction? Or, at least, you think you are. And then you sit down to write, and….
Nothing happens.
How to solve this problem of novel writing block? How to deal with the fact that one minute you’re so pumped about your idea you could burst and the next you realize you have no idea how to proceed?
I can help.
My new Start Your Novel Coaching program covers the basics of prepping to write a novel. Everything you need to do to be ready. Once you’ve covered everything in this coaching program, you’ll write your first draft with ease and grace, because you’ll understand what lies beneath it.
We’ll cover:
- Tools, idea and process
- Character
- Setting
- Story (and backstory)
This is a 10-week, one-on-one coaching program. Weeks 1-8 will cover each of the topics listed above, with the first week’s coaching call instructional and the second week’s support. The final two weeks you’ll get started on the first draft of the novel. Once our time together has ended, you’ll be well on your way to writing a novel.
Each week you’ll get:
- one 30-minute coaching call, which will be recorded
- I’ll read up approximately 10 pages of your work
- unlimisted email access to me, to answer questions
- handouts of exercises and worksheets
I’ve experienced these prepping exercises in the writing trenches. My novel, Emma Jean’s Bad Behavior, is forthcoming in 2013, and I wrote a couple practice novels before that. I’ve made every mistake a beginning writer can make and I’ll pass along the wisdom acquired to you.
Ready to get started? Me, too! I can’t wait to hear your ideas and help you shape them into a cohesive story. Cost is only $1,000 (just $100 per week) but I’m discounting it to $800 to introduce this package. This price will be good only through the month of March so act now. (You can pay for it now and do the coaching whenever you’re ready.)
If you would prefer to pay by check, please contact me for my address.
Note: this coaching package will also work for memoir, if you’re so inclined.
