This Just In: Writers’ Platform Building Crusade

I just found out about a project called the Writers’ Platform Building Crusade. It is the brainchild of Rachel Harrie, and you can learn all about it here. It is designed to link together writers, bloggers, and authors, at any stage of their careers, in order to support each other and help build platforms. Participating in the Crusade will help you build traffic, meet other writers, build you online platform and assist others to build theirs. Plus, it will be a lot of fun.

The Crusade runs from now through April, and what it entails is signing up, and then following the other Crusaders. Following means subscribing to their blogs, reading their posts, tweeting them, and commenting, of course.

I’m excited because one of the best things about blogging is meeting other bloggers. And the list of those who’ve already signed up for the Crusade is inspiring. So I’m going to spend this weekend investigating, reading and commenting on their blogs. Very cool!
